Today was a day that I feel will be more typical of the rest of my time here at the research station. Got to go out early and do a couple of dives with Russ, Sally, and Tom out on the fore reef to do some invertebrate surveys where we basically count urchins in these 5 x 5 meter plots. Tom and I worked on essentially counting urchins in the LTER plots while Russ and Sally did some coral surveys. Actually got a little lost on the way back to the boat when I was running low and ended up with 300 psi on the boat when you are supposed to end with 500 psi...woops. After that it I made a few more cages and then the day was over. It really flew by quite fast today. We were going to make pancakes and eggs for dinner but there was no running water again so that didn't happen. Instead we used left over tortillas and cheese from fajitas to make quesadillas. They were quite buttery and delicious. After that I came up here to watch the season premiere of True Blood, Skype, and go to sleep. And now it is time for me to look at some potential advisors for Germany and to go to bed. Until Later.
