Today I awoke early to see a beautiful Tahitian sunrise while eating my bowl of oatmeal. I was waiting for our first trip to the grocery store on Moorea. It reminded me a bit of Europe in some ways with the smaller market feel. Got our supplies then headed to the dock to report for work. Today I did everything from counting damselfish recruits to fixing the LTER bikes. We also made some fajitas tonight for dinner with Asian chili sauce which turned out pretty good. I am hoping to get some pictures from my underwater housing going soon so stay posted for some epic tropical fish and sea life pictures (especially an upside down jellyfish hopefully). Until later.
